For this year, PV Jobs will operate in three parallel tracks.
First, there will be a PV Jobs special session, scheduled for Wednesday, June 13 from 12:30-1:30 pm in Kona 4. Panelists from industry, national laboratories, and academia will discuss the challenges in applying for jobs in their area, and give brief feedback on pre-selected LinkedIn CVs, then answer other questions from the audience in the remaining time. Job applicants interested in being selected should join the LinkedIn site (see below for details), indicate that they agree to attend WCPEC-7 this year, and directly contact Prof. Peter Bermel.
Second, there will be a live PV Jobs fair, scheduled for Wednesday, June 13, from 6-7:30 pm in Kona 4. This will be held concurrently with the poster session. Interested PV Jobs offerors can sign up in advance by directly contacting Prof. Peter Bermel. PV Jobs seekers do not need to sign up in advance, but are encouraged to bring business cards or resumes to leave with potential job offerors.
Finally, there is an online forum available now to connect job seekers and job offerors: the LinkedIn PV Jobs group. Relevant job listings on LinkedIn will be available there for job seekers to review. Those interested in being reviewed for PV job offers can sign up and complete a free LinkedIn profile, and then join the PV Jobs group. Any questions or comments can be posted directly within the group.
